Evangelism and Outreach Ministry

Evangelism and Outreach Ministry is the foundation for JUMP's mission. We are a church that believes in reaching lost souls. Our passion is to reach as many people as possible while we are on this earth, as the harvest is truly plentiful; but, the laborers are few. If we, as Christians, do not minister to the drug addict, prostitute, drug dealer, felon, murderer, stripper, the rich, and the poor, then who will? How will the disenfranchised ever come to know that the power and love of God is real? It is our responsibility to witness to them where they are. We are a church that has no fear in going to the streets (also known as the enemy's camp), and pulling out the lost sheep. Christ says that even He will leave the ninety and nine to save the ONE that has gone astray. Children's Ministry

"O God, thou hast taught me from my youth: and hitherto have I declared thy wonderous works." Psalms 71:17... No group is too young to learn of the teachings of our Lord. Our Children's Ministry uses coloring, games, and singing to learn about our Savior and King; from toddlers through early elementry ages, JUMP Ministries believes in guiding children in the Word of our Lord.

Hospitality Ministry

Love is an action word. One of the most cheered for group of people are the cooks and staff of our JUMP Ministry events, our wedding decorators and our ministers of love; our ever popular and hardworking hospitably team. They put the action into love and love into everything they do. Who ever heard of a picnic without Momma Della's fried chicken or bbq baked beans? Who ever came to JUMP and were not blessed by a smile or a warm hug? From making sure guests are well taken care of to furnishing our tummies this department works diligently to decorate for weddings, cook for events, keep our guests taken care of and keep the members well spirited and well feed, they minister to our heart and our tummies as people that exemplify what ministry means-love in action!
If you have ever enjoyed a rib sandwich or a warm hug then give it up for Jesus and our hospitality team!

Housing Ministry

Introduction to JUMP Ministries Housing Program Mission/Goals: Residents will be groomed and mentored for Christian living and ultimately leadership training. House leaders will be the mentors and assist residents in finding employment, if necessary, as well as assisting with educational and/or vocational pursuits. House leaders will assist the residents in developing self sufficiency, in part, by establishing an atmosphere whereby residents will desire to grow closer to Christ; thus, growing in their Christian walk. Vision Statement: Within a one to three month period (maximum), all residents should have found adequate employment which allows for all to assist in the maintenance of the home, as well as having the ability to pay tithes and offering. Within one year, ministry home residents should be trained and prepared to move into various areas of ministry within the church and the homes.
As you sow, remember that you are not just giving to a church, but you are ultimately giving unto God through His church; thus, making you directly responsible for the transformation of an individual's life. Read more...

New Member's Ministry and Christian Education

If you would like to join the ministry or if you would like to learn more about the ministry we invite you to attend our new beginner's class held every Sunday morning at 9:00 am. In this class you will get a more in depth understanding of the ministry and our beliefs.

Prophetic Dance

In JUMP Ministries the tears that stream from faces and shouts of 'Hallelujah!' serve as a reminder that preaching and ministering can come forth without a single word being uttered. Praise dancers such as the world renowned Women of Virtue and the Women of Praise break strongholds of religion and render condemnation powerless with their commitment to minister with power and boldness with every song, every time. Consisting of intercessors who prayed their marriages back from divorce to women who are standing in the gap for their family to women raising children on their own, these women are strong instruments who use their own stories to remind the world that God's power changes lives. Whether ministering to Ty Tribett's 'I want it all back' or 'Yes' by Shekinah Glory they bring an element to their dance that go beyond performance and reaches the heart, soul and spirits of people. They are God's vessels of honor and true Women of Virtue and Women of Praise, and have traveled all over the world, to Africa and the Bahamas, inspiring other women and men to surrender wholeheartedly to Christ. There are great performers and then there are great ministers...
With every kick, spin and wave of their chiffons these dancers follow in the footsteps of their father, Dr. Hepburn as great ministers, changing the world one tear, one Hallelujah, one soul at a time.

Youth Ministry

"The Creation waits in eager expectation for the sons of God to be revealed" Rom. 8:19 Vision/Goal Our vision is to reach the youth of this generation; mentoring, teaching, encouraging and preparing them to be strong, healthy, mature Christians at an early age; overcoming the struggles and peer pressure they're exposed to daily. Igniting them in the word of God and showing them how to effectively reach their goals and walk in the destiny God has for them while still enjoying their youth. Activities include but not limited to: Friday Night Youth Service (Weekly), Get Loose Saturday Concerts (Monthly), Tutoring sessions, Annual Youth Conference, Monthly Outings, Movie Nights, Sleepovers, Car Washes, and Volunteer Work Time. Relationship Ministry

Love is not selfish! In relationship class Brother Robert David and Ms. Lisa David, tear down the wrong idea of being in love for what you "get" and teach that being ready for love and marriage is being ready to "give". They use popular books such as the "love dare" emphasizing that having Christ as the center is the only way a relationship is successful. However, their most valuable advice come from their own experience in the failures and success as a couple whose marriage survived infidelity and almost divorce. These two keep it so real that they even go through issues they are dealing with now, making the class down to earth and outright funny at times. Students and online viewers are quickly finding out that this class is one of Florida's best kept secrets.

Intercessory Ministry

Intercessory is where it's at! If you have a burden for people, the streets and the world; come help us bombard Heaven with our prayers every Monday night at 7pm and every morning at 5:30 am. We rise early to seek God and to petition Him for our brothers and sisters, our friends and neighbors and the people down the street and around the corner that have no one crying out for them. If one enemy can change a law, then what can the prayers of the righteous not accomplish? Abraham's prayer was powerful but God couldn't find ten righteous.
In JMGC He will find more than ten, He will find you! Come and be a part of a team that is taking it by force!

Street Ministry

Dedicated to witnessing to people, up close and personal, and taking it back to the streets (well beyond the four walls and church pews). There are several major events during the year where Dr. Durone Hepburn takes a team of ministers to witness to others about Jesus Christ and salvation through Him. Events JUMP attends are: New Orleans Mardi Gras(Feb.), BCR/Black College Reunion(Spring), Daytona Beach Spring Break, Florida Classic(Nov.), Super bowl, and many more events!

Women's Step Team

Steppin' for Jesus is one of the resounding themes of this young and dynamic ministry group. These young women literally complete military-like drills, utilizing their bodies, chants, and songs to proclaim the goodness of God's salvation and living righteously. These young women are "sold-out" for the cause of Christ, ministering in worship services, locally, and abroad having traveled to the Bahamas. This group is destined to reach the masses, keeping the enemy beneath their feet throughout their journey.
