J.U.M.P. Ministries is known for our Street Ministry. We are one of few churches in Florida that is consistently devoted to going outside the four walls of the church to reach those that most people are afraid to even approach. We go into the enemyÕs camp to pull out the lost, the hurting, the addicted, the prostitutes, the drug dealers, etc. We have numerous testimonies of dedicated members, deacons, elders and ministers that were taken off the streets through our evangelism efforts and have not gone back. Many of our first converts have been attending this ministry for the past 12-17 years.

Street Ministry

If you attend our church you would not be able to decipher those that were raised in church all their life from those that came straight off the street into the ministry, but when they open their mouth, youÕll find a wide array of various backgrounds and ethnicities represented. We have ex-hindus, ex-bhuddist, ex-Jehovah WitnessÕs, ex-cons, ex-drug dealers, ex-everything; all worshipping Christ together. We are proud of what God has done in this ministry and what He continues to do with us and through us. Nothing excites and touches Bishop Dr. Hepburn more than the testimonies of people who were on the brink of disaster but God caused J.U.M.P. to be in the right place at the right time, to pull yet another from the jaws of hell. It is the testimonies of the people that cause our man of God to push even harder to reach even further.

Dedicated to witnessing to people, up close and personal, and taking it back to the streets (well beyond the four walls and church pews).

There are several major events during the year where Dr. Durone Hepburn takes a team of ministers to witness to others about Jesus Christ and salvation through Him:

  • Mardi Gras (Feb.) - New Orleans
  • BCR/Black College Reunion (Spring) - Daytona Beach
  • Spring Break - Daytona Beach
  • Florida Classic (Nov.) - Orlando
  • Football Super bowl And many more events!

Housing Ministry

J.U.M.P. Ministry Housing is a ministry that reaches out to those persons who are drug addicted, abused, battered, delinquents, and often homeless. Through this ministry, we reach out to individuals and families who desire to change their lives by inviting Jesus in their hearts as Lord and Savior. Our goal is to encourage and minister by meeting the needs of the people and imparting the principles of Christ as found in the Bible. We, through God's power, encourage relationship restoration and a renewed spirit - eliminating the desolate areas of the individual's life. We currently own and operate fifteen (15) ministry homes that house individuals from all backgrounds and ethnicities. We have seen countless numbers of people's lives transformed by the love of Christ that we pour into them. The word of God that is preached and taught weekly is also a major part of their restoration. Mind-blowing testimonies of men and women whose lives have been completely changed are heard on a daily basis. Guns, bullets, knives, drugs, prescription pills, alcohol, etc., have been left at the by individuals that were once planning to do harm to themselves or to someone else. They chose life with Christ. As you sow, remember that you are not just giving to a church, but you are ultimately giving unto God through His church; thus, making you directly responsible for the transformation of an individual's life. Without your help, these people would most likely remain in the jaws of hell.

Evangelism & Outreach

Evangelism and Outreach Ministry is the foundation for J.U.M.P.'s mission. We are a church that believes in reaching lost souls. Our passion is to reach as many people as possible while we are on this earth, as the harvest is truly plentiful; but, the laborers are few.

If we, as Christians, do not minister to the drug addict, prostitute, drug dealer, felon, murderer, stripper, the rich, and the poor, then who will? How will the disenfranchised ever come to know that the power and love of God is real? It is our responsibility to witness to them - where they are. We are a church that has no fear in going to the streets (also known as the enemy's camp), and pulling out the lost sheep. Christ says that even He will leave the ninety and nine to save the ONE that has gone astray.

It is our mission and mandate to go beyond the four walls of the church building to reach God's people - the anointed laborers He chose for such a time as this.
